ANIMALS BAGS AND BOXES - REUSE

We will be shifting to our new flat by the end of May . So , we are in the 1st phase of cleaning the house . This includes packing up my daughter's and my craft items . While cleaning up my lil one's selves . We got sight of these paper masks which we purchased last year for her school's Earth and Nature's Day celebration . Maintaining these masks , as such will be difficult with her .

We are in need of containers for her crayons , chart paper etc . To get her interest in leaving everything packed after playing , we made these boxes and bags .





THINGS NEEDED :

Animal masks
Waste boxes and Paper bags.



STEPS TO BE FOLLOWED :

Glue these masks to the boxes and bags . Use these bags and boxes to keep crayons,colour papers,chart paper , stencils , pens etc .

EGG SHELL EARTH / MOSAIC ART



MATERIALS REQUIRED : 

Egg shells - crushed
Acrylic Colours
Glue

A4 sheet

STEPS TO BE FOLLOWED:



1) Draw a circle in a plain sheet.
2) Apply glue to it . Then , stick the egg shells to it.
3) Allow it to dry for few hours.
4) Then , paint it with Earth colours. Earth is ready for Earth day activity.

COLOURING FUN WITH SHAPES





MATERIALS REQUIRED :

Chart paper / Waste card paper
Watercolour
Waste comb and toothbrush

STEPS TO BE FOLLOWED :

1) Draw shape in the chart paper .

2) Cut the shapes out of it using penknife. It will look like stencil .
3) Place the shape stencil in a plain page .
4) Take comb and dip the brush in watercolour. Hold the comb tightly and brush the colour in the comb as shown.





5) Once done,remove the stencil . Shapes are coloured easily .

6) Then , mark the shapes with colour pens.

EARTH DAY --- THINGS TO BE DONE



This is the simple way of teaching our kids to know the importance of Earth day . This is my way of teaching my daugther .


Collect pictures relating to Earth Day from magazines and stick it to a note book . Teach them about it .

Picture 1: Earth picture showing trees , animals , birds , water and humans.
Picture 2 : Plant trees
Picture 3 : Water the trees/plants
Picture 4: Grow plants in your home.

Page 2 :


Picture 1 : Say NO to plastic.
Picture 2: Make a habit of gifting Plants .
Picture 3 : Make house for birds in your home.

Page 3 :


Picture 1 : Fees birds
Picture 2 : Don't cut down trees.
Picture 3: Don't waste water.
Picture 4: Save water.

Page 4:

Picture 1: Grow your own garden.
Picture 2 : Know and use natural colours.
Picture 3 : Save plants
Picture 4: Reduce air pollution by the use of cycles.

Picture : Save and help animals.

LADIES FINGER FLOWERS - SUMMER VACATION FUN

A Simple drawing using ladies finger cap . My daughter loves to eat ladies finger and very much loved to colour with her favourite veggie.



MATERIALS REQUIRED :

Poster colours
Crayons
Ladies finger caps

STEPS TO BE FOLLOWED:

1) Pencil sketch vase with branches.
2) Touch colours with veggie cap and print them in place for flowers.


3) Join flowers with green sketch pen.


4) Mark leaves with your little finger prints.


5) Colour your vase with crayons.

Nature Chart was done for my daughter for her Earth day Celebration in school .

BANGLE CRAFTS - SUMMER VACATION FUN

This was done to make my daughter do something interesting , instead of spending her time watching Cartoon shows . She was more excited in doing this , using her waste bangles .

PP1 PROJECT WORK - OPPOSITES

This project work was done for my daughter's project work on Opposites .




She was more happy and excited on doing this work . This will be one of the best way of teaching kids . She was very happy as her teacher awarded her with Excellent grade . We did this using pictures from new papers and magazines .

PAPER BOX

MATERIALS NEEDED :

Old newspapers
Glue
Waste invitation cards/Chart paper

STEPS TO BE FOLLOWED :

1) Tear a page in two halves . Fold it and tear it again to get rectangle or square shape.
2) Roll it as shown and glue it in the end.

3) Make a rectangle shape out of waste cards , to form the base for the box.
4) Make rolls of paper as per requirement and glue to the card to form the box.Glue one roll over the other.
5) Box is ready to store clips/safety pins/Visiting cards .
