These were done for my daughter's school crafts in nursery.
SAND PAINTED MELON :
Mix different colours with sand in different dry bowls.
Draw designs in paper .
Apply gum to the design and spread colours to it.
Dry for 2 hours and just remove the dust with a soft brush.
SALT PAINTED RANGOLI :
Mix different colours with salt in different dry bowls.
Draw rangoli designs in paper .
Apply gum to the design and spread colours to it.
Dry for 2 hours and just remove the dust with a soft brush.

WOW very innovative types of rangolis. btw just wanted to know when you do rangoli with salt ,will not the floor get spoiled.Kudos to you for taking so much effort for your DD
